JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Wednesday, July 17 is National Tattoo Day!
It’s no secret that tattoos have become a more common sight in workplaces around the United States. According to a Pew Research Center report from 2023, 32% of adults have a tattoo themselves, including 22% who have more than one.
And among the most likely to have tattoos are women, Black Americans and younger adults. Shocked? Neither are we.
To celebrate National Tattoo Day, we want to know — who do you think is the best tattoo artist(s) in Jacksonville? Where is the best tattoo shop? Let us know in the comments below by signing into your Insider account! We will read some of your submissions live on-air tomorrow.
We also want to see your tattoos! Upload your photos on SnapJAX by using the “Local Events” Channel and “National Tattoo Day” Category and share the meaning (if any) behind them.
And remember, keep it PG! We only wish to see respectful tattoos placed on respectful areas of the body.
📸 Upload your tattoo photos and videos on SnapJAX! Tell us the meaning, artist and tattoo shop if you can remember.
