Rain will begin around 1 p.m. with a gradual acceleration of storm development for the next six hours. Similar to Saturday, isolated storms will converge to larger stronger storms that will continue into the early evening.
Please anticipate heavy downpours that could lead to flash flooding. Driving will become more dangerous due to hydroplaning and lightning could become hazardous as well. When you hear lightning, go indoors.
Rain accumulation could be less than half and inch but heavy downpours could still cause a dangerous commute.
Storms will impact Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida.
