The victim was taken to a trauma center around 7:50 p.m., St. Johns County Fire Rescue confirmed.
NOCATEE, Fla. — A patient with a gunshot wound was taken to the hospital by helicopter out of a Ponte Vedra neighborhood, the St. Johns County Fire Rescue has confirmed.
The patient was picked up in the Walden Chase neighborhood, near Nocatee.
Around 7:50 p.m., they were taken to a trauma center.
Crime scene tape was set up near a roundabout off Walden Chase Lane and Endersleigh Lane. There were several crime scene unit vans and police cars still on scene as of 10 p.m.
